Confluence Shortlisted in Three Categories for 2018 Fund Technology and WSL Awards
Recognized for Best Fintech Solution, Best Compliance Product and Best Technology Provider Overall
January 8, 2018
Pittsburgh, PA, January 8, 2018 – Confluence, the global leader in investment data management automation for regulatory, financial and investor reporting, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2018 Fund Technology and WSL Awards in three categories: Best Fintech Solution, Best Compliance Product and Best Technology Provider Overall.
Recognizing and rewarding providers that cater to asset managers and institutional traders, the Fund Technology and WSL Awards are given annually to firms that have demonstrated exceptional customer service and innovative product development during the prior 12 months. The Best Fintech Solution and Best Compliance Product categories are new awards for 2018.
Nominees were determined by an independent panel of industry experts who based their decisions on a mixture of qualitative and quantitative performance indicators. For each category, applicants had to demonstrate outstanding client satisfaction and innovation, as well as revenue growth (or client revenue growth) attributable to the product.
The awards period coincides with the expansion of the capabilities of Confluence’s platform, which provides groundbreaking technology to solve tough data management and automation challenges for the asset management back office, including regulatory reporting, investor communications and performance reporting. Fund administrators and asset managers servicing or managing nearly 70 percent of all ’40 Act funds have selected the Unity NXT® platform to prepare and file their Form N-PORT and Form N-CEN filings, key requirements with the advent of SEC Reporting Modernization.
“It’s particularly exciting to be nominated in three different categories,” said Chris Evans, SVP and Chief Technology Officer at Confluence. “Acknowledgement of our fintech and compliance offerings speaks to the broad range of services we provide our clients, and being nominated as Best Technology Provider Overall is an outstanding compliment to our team. Innovation, client satisfaction and growth are key ways we judge our success internally, so it’s great to be recognized by the industry for these attributes as well.”
The 2018 Fund Technology and WSL Awards (formerly the Wall Street Letter Institutional Trading Awards) highlight the efforts of technology providers, data specialists and exchanges in meeting the needs of the wider asset management community, particularly mutual funds, based on their performance from October 31, 2016 – November 1, 2017. Finalists for the 2018 Awards will be honored, and the winners will be announced, on February 7 at a ceremony in New York.
