Chief Financial Officer
Frederick Winston is Chief Financial Officer for Confluence. He is responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and finance operations and for advancing the company's focus on strategic growth in the United States and globally by leveraging strategic acquisition opportunities that align with the company's leadership status in data management and automation for the asset management industry. Winston lead Confluence to successfully complete two acquisitions, Data Agent in 2013 and Orfival in 2014, augmenting the company's regulatory reporting and performance reporting offerings, respectively.
Joining the firm's San Francisco office in 2011, Winston has a strong background in corporate strategy and analysis, management and business development, as well as venture capital experience.
Winston previously worked at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray Ventures, where he analyzed early-stage technology companies for strategic investment opportunities. He also held senior-level roles at Broncus Technologies, Inc., where he helped to open markets in the U.S. and Europe, and managed all phases of a $25 million research program across four continents.
As a Sloan Fellow at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Winston earned a Master of Science degree in Management. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Williams College.
