Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President
Chris Evans is responsible for setting Confluence's global technology vision and serves as the chief architect for all Confluence products.
Joining Confluence in 1992, Evans is credited for the development of the products that now comprise a comprehensive platform for asset management regulatory, investor communications, performance and expense management data management and reporting. He continues to implement the company's strategic growth vision through organic development, as well as by developing the integration strategy for acquired products and technologies. His accomplishments include defining the architecture for the Unity® platform, which features a single data hub to facilitate the reuse of validated fund data for a multitude of data dissemination and reporting purposes. Evans is also leading the transition to web-based software services and architected the company's Unity NXT™ SaaS platform.
Under Evans' leadership, Confluence has created product differentiation through a commitment to business user centric development. Accordingly, Evans has led the development of proprietary tools to enable non-technical business users to manage the end-to-end process of creating and delivering fund reports without IT intervention. Among his other contributions is the development of the Confluence rate-of-return engine, an important component of the industry leading Unity® Performance product, which automates the calculation of complex performance calculations.
Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
