Christopher S. Evans
Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel
Chris Evans is the chief legal officer for Confluence. He is responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of Confluence's growing, global operations, serving as legal advisor to the sales and product development functions, as well as the company's risk management officer.
Evans joined Confluence in 2014 as Assistant General Counsel. He came from Saul Ewing LLP where he assisted Confluence as outside counsel in assessing and executing strategic acquisition opportunities and advised on general corporate matters.
Prior to that, Evans worked as an associate for Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in Washington, DC. He has 7 years of corporate law experience, providing counsel and advice to a diverse set of clients, most often around the equity and debt financing, merger and acquisitions transactions and intellectual property licensing.
Evans is admitted to the Bar in the jurisdictions of Pennsylvania, District of Columbia and Maryland. He graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, in May 2008.
