Please review these Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) before using e-mail support.
- What format can be used for the prospectus document?
Confluence Quick Tag uses Rich Text Format (RTF) documents for tagging. If your prospectus document is in any other format open the document and use the Save As function to convert it to RTF. For best results, start with a Microsoft Word (.doc) document or a text (.txt) document.
- Can I save a tagging project and come back to it later?
Yes. A Tagging Package, with the prospectus document and the assigned tags, can be saved and re-loaded at any time.
- I'm getting a .NET not installed error.
On the Download Setup File Web page, there are two links: one for launching the Quick Tag application without .NET, and one for installing both .NET and the Quick Tag application. If you do not already have both .NET 3.0 and .NET 2.0, be sure to use the Install link which will install them for you. Installation Page.
- I'm getting a .NET error in another application.
Installing current .NET frameworks on a PC with applications that use previous versions of .NET may cause conflicts. For example, Confluence applications may have issues when trying to run a publication, either displaying runtime or "BaseEvaluators” errors. FundStation® and Clear Portfolio™ users—If you have version 7.0 to 7.05 installed and intend to install Quick Tag on the same PC, please visit http://clients.confluence.com/bulletins/workstation.htm and follow the instructions to address possible .NET conflicts specific to your software version. (You will need your Clients Only Web Site username and password.)
