Bill Mariani leads information technology services at Confluence. Joining Confluence in 2007, he is responsible for aligning Confluence’s global business strategies with its technology solutions and business systems.
Prior to Confluence, Mariani spent 25 years at PPG Industries, Inc. where he served in a variety of systems and information services roles. Immediately prior to joining Confluence, Mariani was Director of Global IT Infrastructure Services for PPG. In that role, he managed the global computing environment. Mariani also directed global IT infrastructure services, which included consolidating global operations and managing PPG’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within its IT infrastructure. His other career accomplishments included management of Italian information technologies and European operations, enterprise resource planning (ERP) deployments, mainframe to web application conversions, software and infrastructure upgrades and implementing outsourcing strategies.
Mariani holds a BS/BA in Information Systems from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh.
