Kirk Botula is responsible for Confluence’s global product direction and company operations. Since joining the company in 1995, Botula has been responsible for creating a culture of product innovation, operational excellence and client service at Confluence. Among his accomplishments is the commercialization of Confluence’s initial product offering, Unity™ Performance (formerly FundStation®). Botula has also led Confluence's expansion globally, including opening offices in London and Luxembourg. He is highly involved in the fund industry and sought after for his expertise regarding emerging trends in global fund administration.
Prior to joining Confluence, Botula served in a variety of roles at Mellon Financial. He has been a speaker on emerging industry issues at conferences of the Securities Industry Association, the Product Development and Management Association, and the Direct Marketing Association. He has served on committees for the National Investment Company Service Association and the Investment Company Institute, and has authored several articles on product management. He has served as a lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University on technology commercialization. Botula serves on advisory boards of the Product Strategy Network, Pittsburgh Servant Leaders, KidsVoice and the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh.
Botula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
