Chris Evans

Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Chris Evans leads strategic product development for Confluence. He is responsible for setting Confluence’s global technology vision and serves as the chief architect and quality engineer for all Confluence products.

Joining Confluence in 1992, Evans is credited for the development of the products that now comprise the Unity™ platform, the industry’s only unified platform for fund administration. His accomplishments include defining the architecture for the Unity platform, which features a single data hub to facilitate the reuse of validated fund data for a multitude of regulatory, compliance and marketing reporting purposes.

Under Evans’ leadership, Confluence has created product differentiation through a commitment to business user centric development. Accordingly, Evans has led the development of proprietary tools for creating reports and charts; these tools enable non-technical business users to manage the end-to-end process of creating and delivering fund reports without IT intervention. Among his other contributions is the development of the Confluence rate-of-return engine, which automates the calculation of complex performance calculations, and the post-trade compliance business rules engine, which automates exception-based compliance rules testing.  

Evans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
