EUROPEAN FUND ADMINISTRATION PRODUCT MANAGEMENT EXPERT MELVIN JAYAWARDANA JOINS CONFLUENCE TO DRIVE MARKET EXPANSION

(Pittsburgh, PA and Luxembourg - May 9, 2012) Confluence, the leading provider of automated data management solutions for the investment management industry, today announced that industry veteran Melvin Jayawardana has joined the company as European Fund Administration Product Manager. Based in the Confluence International office in Luxembourg, Mr. Jayawardana will help customers strategically expand their use of the Unity® platform to gain increased benefits from data consolidation and automation. He is also responsible for expanding Confluence’s global market penetration through new product innovation that delivers superior value to European fund administrators.

Mr. Jayawardana previously worked at J.P. Morgan Bank where, as Senior Vice President and Product Manager for Mutual Fund Accounting, he launched new products and expanded EMEA regulatory reporting services for the company. Prior to his work at JP Morgan, he served in other senior level positions in the industry, including Head of Change Management for State Street Bank Edinburgh, and Vice President/Unit Head, Fund Services for State Street Bank Luxembourg.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Jayawardana holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies with a specialization in economics and finance from Huron University in London.
