Confluence Recognized as One of Western Pennsylvania's Healthiest Employers
Company to be Honored by Pittsburgh Business Times at June Wellness Expo
(Pittsburgh, PA - April 17, 2012) Confluence, the leading provider of automated data management solutions for the investment management industry, has been named as one of the Healthiest Employers of Western Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
The Pittsburgh Business Times partnered with Indianapolis, Ind.-based Healthiest Employer LLC to find the healthiest workplaces in the region. Healthiest Employer had employers complete a web-based survey composed of 75 scored questions focused on their corporate wellness program and strategy. Both public and private companies are included.
"We are very proud to have been named one of our region's healthiest employers. Confluence has earned a reputation as an innovative leader through the imagination and discipline of employees to come to work every day and deliver extraordinary results. In return, we have always committed to providing benefits that are equally extraordinary, including a comprehensive wellness program," said Kirk Botula, President and Chief Operating Officer of Confluence. "We strive to create a workplace that inspires healthy living, and we take pride in helping our employees achieve optimum health."
Confluence's wellness program includes health screenings, rewards for exercising and living healthily, onsite massage therapy, and a wide range of ongoing activities, including nutrition classes, flu shots, full-service locker rooms and having fresh fruit delivered to the office twice a week for employees to snack on.
"We are very pleased with our Healthiest Employer award program and congratulate Confluence on its achievement," said Alan Robertson, publisher of the Pittsburgh Business Times. 2012 marks the second year of the newspaper's program to recognize organizations that are committed to creating healthy workplaces.
Companies named to the Healthiest Employers list will be honored at a Wellness Expo at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh on June 14, 2012. A special print supplement of the Pittsburgh Business Times, available June 15, will also highlight the award winners.
